Associate Attorney
DeLon Slaughter is a dedicated and driven attorney at Latham Law Group, where he focuses on delivering exceptional advocacy and client service in the field of personal injury law. DeLon recently passed the bar and joined the firm, bringing a unique blend of legal knowledge, real-world experience, and a commitment to justice for those who have been injured.
DeLon earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation and legal research. During his academic career, he honed his skills and demonstrated a passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of the legal system. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change from the University of Michigan.
Prior to joining Latham Law, DeLon built a strong background in client relations and negotiation as a licensed real estate professional. His experience in working with diverse clients has equipped him with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of his clients’ interests.
Outside of the office, DeLon remains actively engaged in his community. He serves as a Community Service Chair for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., underscoring his commitment to giving back and supporting meaningful initiatives throughout Michigan.
